Abbey Insurance to move to new premises

Following Abbey’s acquisition of Open + Direct insurance last month, this new office will also take in the business of the Open + Direct branch at Bachelor’s Walk. Staff and customers there will move across to Abbey Insurance with immediate effect.

Trevor Shaw, CEO of Abbey Insurance Brokers said: “Through our recent acquisition of Open + Direct, we have almost doubled the size of the Abbey Insurance Brokers network right across Northern Ireland, so it makes commercial sense to move the operation of the two local Lisburn offices under one roof.

“We are delighted to be in a position to move to larger, modern premises in the bustling Market Place area.

“This high street presence is very important in towns like Lisburn, where the sense of local community is so strong.

“Together with the Lisburn Branch Manager Katrina Johnston, we look forward to welcoming customers to our new place in the town, where we hope they’ll call in and say hello.”
