Abbeycentre store set to create 30 new jobs

POUNDLAND - Europe's biggest single price discount retailer - has announced its expansion plans which include a new store opening in Newtownabbey later this month.

The opening of the store in the Abbeycentre, will create up to 30 new jobs for the community.

Poundland has 280 stores nationwide, selling a huge selection of products at just 1 each.

To celebrate Poundland's arrival in Newtownabbey, one of the UK's favourite soap stars will officially welcome shoppers and kick off a family fun day. Details of the celebrity will be announced nearer to the opening date, which is yet to be confirmed.
