Members and friends were saddened to hear the news that Brother Wilson Sherrard tragically lost his life in a car accident on the evening of Tuesday, August 2.

Wilson was affectionately known to many within the Loyal Orders and was a dedicated and committed member of the Browning Parent Club for many years. During this time, he travelled to many events representing his Parent Club and building positive relationships with Branch Clubs throughout the United Kingdom.

Wilson created his own cottage industry manufacturing collarettes for all the Loyal Orders. His outstanding workmanship and skill was in great demand and orders for his product came from members in every part of the world. The quality of his merchandise was acknowledged and recognised by all.

Wilson’s welcoming and cheering smile, sincere good nature and kind-heartedness will be sadly missed by many who valued and respected his friendship.

May I on behalf of General Committee convey our sincere condolences to his Wife Ann, sons Christopher and Ryan and to all in the wider family circle.

“The day thou gavest Lord is ended.”

William Moore,

General Secretary.
