ACT hosts election debate for candidates

An election information and policy debate is to be held in Lurgan tonight (Friday).

The event is being organised by the Action for Community Transformation (ACT) Initiative, in partnership with the Jethro Centre in Lurgan.

The organisers said that all parties fielding candidates in next month’s Assembly election were invited to take part. At the time of writing, Sinn Fein, Alliance, the Ulster Unionist Party, UKIP, TUV and PUP had confirmed their attendance.

The event is to be independently chaired by Sean O’Boyle.
