Act now to save bus services in Cookstown and Magherafelt - McCrea

Mr McCrea said: “Yet again in Mid Ulster we are faced with another review of Translink services in Cookstown and Magherafelt, with the uncertainty about if these services will be retained or not and it is vitally important that the entire community voice their opinion to Translink.

“Everyone will be aware of the budgetary pressures that are being faced across all aspects of government spending, I feel it is imperative that Translink fully consider every possible option before any final decision is made on these particular services.

“There is no point acting after we lose these valuable services, so compete the survey and make it clear that we in Mid Ulster want to retain what bus services we have left.”
