Cllr Baird said: “I am very pleased to see Roads Service repair this road which has been in such a poor state for so long. The Roads Engineer has been most helpful and has carried out surfacing to the edge of the Community Hall and the Church which makes if safer for pedestrians. I know that the people who live here and those who frequently commute on this road are delighted with the new surface and to get rid of the many potholes. I have approached the Engineer about the flooding problem near the Dry Arch and he is going to improve drainage at this area to allow excess surface water a safe run off.”
