Actor from The Fall joins NI baby charity

Jamie Dornan has been announced as the latest patron to join TinyLife, Northern Ireland’s premature and vulnerable baby charity.

The actor who recently starred in BBC Two drama The Fall has long been associated with the charity as his father, Professor James Dornan is a founding member and sits on the Board of Directors.

Jamie said: “It is a great honour to be made a patron for TinyLife. A charity that my family has had involvement with since it’s fruition as ‘Northern Ireland Mother and Baby Appeal’.

“Their dedicate to reducing premature birth, illness, disability and death in babies born in Northern Ireland is unparalleled.”

The charity which is based in Carryduff funds medical research and provides a wide range of support services to families of premature and vulnerable babies born in Northern Ireland.

Jamie joins a host of local celebrities in his patronage of the charity.
