Adam named ‘good citizen’

Adam Craig, who works at TrustFord Knockmore, was recently presented with ‘The Good Corporate Citizen award’ at the Business’ Awards for Excellence.

The Good Corporate Citizen award celebrates colleagues who have made a positive difference.

Adam was nominated by colleagues and chosen as the winner by a panel of independent judges, for organising and hosting the inaugural TrustFord’s Got Talent event in Belfast last year.

The event raised over £2,000 for Cancer Research UK, TrustFord’s official charity partner, and was judged by a panel of local celebrities, including singer Peter Corry, comedian Paddy O’ Donnell, performer Miss Cherry on Top, UTV Sports presenter Ruth Gorman, and Big Brother runner up Ashleigh Coyle.

Dermot Rafferty, General Manager, Northern Ireland commented: “We’re really proud of Adam for organising such a fantastic event, which helped raise money for Cancer Research UK, an extremely important charity. The night was a real success, and just part of Adam’s hard work to make a positive difference at TrustFord and in the local community.”

Steve Hood, Chairman and CEO at TrustFord comments: “At TrustFord we encourage all of our colleagues to support our strategic goal of Good Corporate Citizenship and it’s a privilege to recognise Adam’s individual contribution to Cancer Research UK. This award is very well deserved.”
