Admitted to disorderly behaviour charge

A 31-year-old man has admitted that he was guilty of disorderly behaviour in Gilford on October 19 this year.

And he will be sentenced in December after a pre-sentence report has been prepared by the probation service.

Eamon O’Hanlon, High Street, Gilford, appeared last Thursday at Banbridge Magistrates Court.

He was charged that he used disorderly behaviour at High Street in Gilford on October 19.

Mr Conor Downey, representing the defendant, indicated his client would plead guilty to the offence.

He added that O’Hanlon was already the subject of a probation order and a pre-sentence report might be of benefit to him.

District Judge, Mr Paul Copeland, said O’Hanlon had a significant record.

Releasing the defendant on his own bail of £400 the judge adjourned sentencing until December 8 so that the probation report could be obtained.
