Adults ADHD workshop

A workshop for adults who have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (as a child) or think they have ADHD but were never diagnosed is being held in the Phoenix ADHD Project at 1 Ballycastle Road, Coleraine, on Wednesday, May 23 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Topics to be covered are What is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder?; Myths about ADHD; How ADHD is presented in adults; Diagnosis criteria in adults; How it impacts on study, work, relationships; What help is available (or lack of help); Tips on how to manage challenges faced.

The workshop will also be an opportunity to meet other people facing the same challenges and possibly the start of an Adult ADHD Support Group.
