Advice coffee morning at local church
A grants and benefits advice coffee morning is being held on Tuesday, June 23, at All Saints Church, Tullylish, from 10.30am-1pm.
It is an opportunity for people from a number of local areas, including Waringstown, Gilford, Donaghcloney, Laurencetown and Bleary, to find out more about grants available through a rural scheme.
The Maximising Access to Services Grants and Benefits in Rural Areas (MARA) scheme aims to connect people living in rural areas with benefit entitlements, grants and services that they may not be aware of.
To date, people have received help with insulation and boiler replacement, while some have had benefits increased.
