Ahoghill YFC reflect on a fantastic year

AHOGHILL YFC got their year off to a flying start with an outstanding number of new members with a full programme of action-packed club meetings.

From the club’s first meeting the numbers started to rocket to new heights as more new members joined the club.

‘Quiz Night’ was the theme which tested everyone and was an amazing icebreaker for both members old and new.

The second club meeting was even better with the wellies kicked off and replaced with the dancing shoes coming out and line dancing provided a great night’s entertainment for everyone; even the boys showed off their hidden dancing skills!

Ahoghill YFC turned out in numbers for the third club meeting of the winter programme with taekwondo instructors coming along to teach the club some useful skills in the form of self defence.

Following this meeting there was a night when the police came along to give a talk about road safety and what experiences they encountered during their day’s work. This night was both very interesting and informative.

Next Ahoghill YFC headed off to Finvoy YFC on an exchange night visit and on this visit they were entertained while learning more dance moves - this time being Zumba and a great night’s craic was had by ALL!
