Derry City Council commenced the incorporation process in October 2009 with the formation of three-company structure to oversee business at the Airport. One aspect of the reform was the establishment of an operating company to run the airport and the appointment of non-executive directors.

Incoming Chairperson, Roy Devine said: “City of Derry Airport is an integral part of the region’s transport infrastructure. There has been significant investment in the facility and the airport has demonstrated the capacity to grow its business over the coming years. CODA (Operations) Ltd is tasked with the operations of the airport and with guiding the airport towards long-term sustainability. I look forward to working with my fellow directors in the delivery of these objectives.”
