“Rushmere is proud to be sponsoring the Miss Northern Ireland contest for a second year running."

The final will be presented by the glamorous Emma Louise Johnston and UTV's Frank Mitchell.

The winner of the contest will receive thousands of pounds worth of prizes including a brand new car for the year from Downey’s of Newtownards, insured by Open and Direct; 1000 of Rushmere vouchers and 1000 from Matalan at Rushmere; a modelling contract with Alison Campbell Agency; hairdressing for the year courtesy of Michele International Belfast and much more, with the complete prize package for the competition totalling 40,000. The 2010 Rushmere Miss NI will also win an all expenses paid month long trip representing Northern Ireland in this year’s Miss World contest due to be held in Vietnam later this year.

Event Organiser Alison Campbell said: “The standard of this year’s competition has been extremely high, it’s fantastic to see so many girls putting themselves forward for the role as an ambassador for Northern Ireland.

“The judges at the final will have a difficult job choosing an overall winner, but I look forward to working with whoever it may be!”
