All revved up for a superb festival of motorsport in Broughshane

The Garden Village of Broughshane will host the the first Festival of Motorsport promoted by the Mid Antrim Road Racing Section on Friday, August 1 and Saturday, August 2.

The Broughshane and District Community Association are delighted that the largest gathering of motorsport vehicle ever in Ireland is being held in the village.

Vintage Motorcycles, Cars, Tractors, Lorries along with Vintage Racing Motorcycles, Vintage Racing Cars will come together in centres throughout the village.

There will be something for everyone who attends this motorsport spectacle which will commence on the Friday night with entertainment by country star Brian Coll in the Thatch, Broughshane The Festival will be housed in 3 Exhibition Centres throughout Broughshane with each centre having its own theme, Classic and Modern Racing Motorcycles, Autojumble and Trade Stands, Classic Cars and Classic Race Cars.

On Saturday the Classic Bikes and Cars along with the Modern Bikes will get an opportunity to take part in a ride out which will take in the Mid Antrim 150 Road Race Track at Clough.

Following the ride out’s there will be a cavalcade of Classic and Modern Motorcycle and Cars through the village.Further press releases will following in the run up to the Festival of Motorsport.
