All Saints invites architect to bring project forward

ALL Saints Clooney Caring Association is moving forward with its plans for the development of a new £530,000 community hub in the heart of the Waterside.

The association is inviting tenders for an architect to lead the development. Those interested must apply by July 7.

The scheme will include modern single storey community facilities, a kitchen, toilets and storage. It will replace an existing hall on the main Glendermott Road.

Full planning permission has already been obtained at this stage. The association advises that the commission will be for a period of 13 months and will commence July 2010.

The estimated cost of the project is 530,000. It is being funded through a grant from the International Fund for Ireland (IFI).
