All-Tex cares for Canines!

MANAGEMENT at All-Tex Recyclers, based in Cloughmills, have shown that while they may be one of the largest employers in the Borough, they can still take time out to provide much needed support to all the dogs housed by Ballymoney Borough Council and the USPCA.

The support includes the provision of large quantities of blankets and duvets. The current cold spell is hard on everyone, including these dogs, some abandoned by their owners.

Karen Mitchell, Environmental Warden, Ballymoney Borough Council said: “It can be difficult to source a consistent supply of bedding for our dogs.

“This gesture by All-Tex Recyclers is a fine example of how local businesses can co-operate for the welfare of animals. Although we do rehome the vast majority of dogs in our kennels, we appreciate the need to ensure that their stay is as comfortable as possible. This donation and the promise of ongoing support is vital and shows the caring side of a local and rapidly expanding company.”

Paula McAuley, Business Development Manager, All-Tex Recyclers concluded by saying:

“We are committed to supporting local causes and developing sustainable relationships within the community where we are based. Given the freezing temperatures of recent weeks, we are only too happy to provide an ongoing supply of bedding materials to Ballymoney Borough Council and the USPCA.

“Hopefully this will ensure all the dogs in both kennels will have a more comfortable stay as they wait to be rehomed.”
