Police are investigating a robbery during which a sum of cash was stolen after two men entered a property and threatened the householder with a suspected firearm.

The robbery happened in Clogher Court, Bushmills at around 6pm on Monday 29 December. As a result the male victim received minor injuries to his face and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are appealing for information from anyone who may know anything about the incident.

Police received a report that a flat had been burgled at Coast Road, Cushendall in the early hours of Thursday 01 January. A wallet was stolen and damage also caused to the flat. Police enquiries are ongoing.

Police are appealing for information following the report of a hit and run road traffic collision on the Bann Road in Aghadowey sometime between December 25 and 28.

It was reported that a red coloured car, possibly a Volkswagen, had caused damage to a post on the Bann Road, close to the junction of Curragh Road.

Constable Black appealed for anyone with any information about the incident to contact the Case Progression Team at Ballymoney Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
