A number of turkeys are believed to have been stolen from a Ballymoney farm on Wednesday 15 October. A similar theft was reported to police last year. Investigators are looking at tyre marks from a vehicle believed to have been used during the theft. Anyone who has information on the matter is asked to contact Ballymoney police on the new non emergency number 101.

Police are investigating the theft of a motorbike from a property in the Mill Cottage Lane area of Stranocum. The theft of the Suzuki SV650 bike is thought to have happened during the morning of Thursday 16 October. Anyone with any information on the suspected theft is asked to contact police.

Ballymoney police received a report of a bogus phone call made to an elderly local woman last week. The caller claimed to be from the local GP surgery in an incident similar to another reported to police in Newtownards last week. The woman ended the call quite quickly and on confirming with her surgery that they hadn’t been attempting to contact her, reported the incident to police.

Police arrested a 50 year old man on suspicion of disorderly behaviour and resisting police in the Berryfields park area of Ballymoney on the afternoon of Sunday 19 October. The man was arrested following a report of a disturbance outside a house in the area. The man was taken into police custody and enquiries are continuing.

Police received a report that the front bedroom window of a house in the Kilns Road area of Ballycastle had been smashed. The incident happened at around midnight on Sunday 12 October. Enquiries into the matter are continuing.

Police arrested a 32 year old at the scene of a suspected burglary in the Glentaisie Drive area of Ballycastle. The officers disrupted what is thought to have been a burglary in progress at around 8:45pm on Friday 17 October. The man is due to appear in court on Monday 20 October.

Police arrested a 38 year old man on suspicion of driving whilst unfit. The man was arrested in the Clare Road area at around 9:45pm on Saturday 18 October. He has since been released on police bail as enquiries continue.
