Alleged injured party in assault case 'in Australia'
A CONTESTED case set for next month at Ballymena Magistrates Court may not go ahead as the alleged injured party is currently in Australia, the court was told.
Aaron Clyde (33), of Whinsmoor Park, Broughshane; and Sonia Kernohan (34), of Crosshill View, Kells, deny assaulting a female on August 2 last year.
Kernohan also denies damaging a dress belonging to the alleged injured party on the same date.
A contest date of April 12 was set for the case.
