Alliance announces Mid & East Antrim Council election team
The party is fielding candidates from across the community with professional backgrounds including the Royal Air Force, Medicine, Software Engineering, Telecoms, the Library Service, Pharmacy and Law.
The Party’s Group Leader in Carrickfergus, Cllr Noel Williams, said: “The diversity of candidates is indicative of the Alliance Party’s commitment to Step Forward towards a Shared Future for everyone in Northern Ireland.

The candidates contesting each constituency are: Cllr Gerardine Mulvenna – Coast Road; Cllr Noel Williams & Paul Sinclair - Knockagh; Cllr Gavin Norris & Elena Aceves-Cully - Carrick Castle; Philip Burnside – Bannside; Cllr Jayne Dunlop – Ballymena; Danny Donnelly – Braid; Cllr Michael Lynch & Robert Logan - Larne Lough.
In support of the candidates, former Councillors, Sean Neeson and Stewart Dickson MLA, jointly stated: “Local government is changing and this gives us a unique opportunity to achieve positive change; our Alliance Party candidates offer credible and professional representation and they have our full support.”
