Allister seeks bus shelter for Kells
Local TUV MLA Jim Allister wants progress on the provision of a bus shelter in Kells.
He said: “For too long Kells has been neglected in this basic provision, this has left school children and other public transport users waiting in the open often having to endure bad weather.
“I have been in contact with the Council and they are actively seeking land on which to erect a bus shelter – that is positive, but until such a time as Kells has this essential amenity then it is not good enough,” Mr Allister stated.
“It is time to give Kells the same facilities as elsewhere,” he said.
