Allo! Allo! Lisneal pupils visited Paris

Last week 35 Lisneal College pupils and four staff enjoyed a week in the romantic European city of Paris, France.

The party stayed in the Hotel Kyriad at Disneyland, Paris and enjoyed various excursions to well-known landmarks such as La tour Eiffel, l’Arc de Triomphe, les Champs Elysées, le Stade de France, Aquaboulevard and last but not least, Eurodisney.

The weather was fantastic which meant that Paris was shown in all its glory. Some pupils were even inspired to talk to French boys and girls in French which was a coup for the Modern Languages department.

The highlight of the trip was definitely Eurodisney, where Mrs McAvoy managed to give Mickey Mouse a kiss and Mrs Louden cried with fear at Thunder mountain.

Overall, the pupils were a credit to Lisneal and made the most of their time in Paris. All of the party were sad to leave and look forward to the next trip in two years.
