Altnagelvin raised £378k from car park
ALTNAGELVIN Area Hospital raised £378,000 from car parking charges over the past three years.
In 2007/8 124,000 was raised; in 2008/9 131,000 was raised; and in 2009/10 123,000 was raised.
All of the revenue from car parking charges at Altnagelvin went back into the health service.
Across the five hospitals charging for car parking in Northern Ireland a total of 6,406,000 was raised.
The Health Minister Michael McGimpsey outlined the details in response to an Assembly Question.
