The support group will offer an opportunity for family carers to meet other carers in similar situations to share their experiences and concerns in an understanding, safe and confidential setting.

The area’s Support Worker Helen Taylor will also be present at each meeting to facilitate and offer information, signposting and support to all carers however, Helen stresses that this is a support group for carers and it will be the carer ultimately who will point the group in the direction that they want the group to take.
