Amazing Space trip for OLOL
Amazing the Space was held at the Eikon Exhibition Centre near Lisburn, organized by the Rev David Latimer and Co-operation Ireland.
Organized to coincide with the United Nations International Day of Peace, it brought together over 3,500 young people to celebrate their role in peace building. Year 10 pupils from Our Lady of Lourdes School, Ballymoney worked with teacher, Miss Martin to write a Peace Pledge for the event.
The school was one of the eight invited by Rev Latimer to read their pledge at the event and Shea Wallace did the honour on stage.
Mrs M Buckley Acting Principal said: “It was an inspirational day, our pupils were thoroughly engaged and entertained.
