Amazing youth weekend of praise

There was a great buzz of excitement recently when Jonathan Payne warmly welcomed everyone to a very special Youth Concert in aid of Teen Challenge, Belfast.

The Church’s Fellowship Hall was filled to capacity as talented young people from the church proclaimed the Gospel message through music, song, dance, drama, poetry and much, much more, in their own energetic and vibrant way.

After the interval a film clip was screened showing the work of Teen Challenge, Belfast, which helps people who have developed life controlling problems, especially drug and alcohol addictions.

The Fellowship Hall was given a very special makeover for Saturday night’s event where young people along with their youth leaders came together for ‘IGNITE’, themed very appropriately on “Love”! Special guest Lee McClelland (Teen Challenge, Belfast) shared an empowering message and challenged everyone to give their lives completely to God.

The final part of this wonderful weekend began on Sunday morning with Nicole Williams (Youth Leader) sharing with the Congregation on the topic of “Passion and Zeal”. The Sunday evening Gospel Service was once again presented by the young people.
