Amended application for Warden Street property plan

PLANNERS have withheld making their decision on a planning application for a five property development, while they consider amendments to the proposals.

The plan was for a new housing development of one detached and four semi-detatched dwellings at 63a Warden Street, which had been due for refusal.

At last Thursday night’s Public Sector Liaison Committee meeting, planning officer Denise Kerr informed members that this application had been pulled from the schedule to allow the department to consider the amendents.

Committee Chairman, Cllr Declan O'Loan said he welcomed the decision.

Councillor PJ McAvoy said he hoped the planners would look at this application in a positive way, he said: “Notice that there’s no objections to this application.”
