American citizen was not insured
An American citizen now living in Portadown was banned from driving for six months last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates
Court.
Rose McSloy (32), Milltown, Portadown, was also fined £300 for driving without insurance on May 28. As well she was fined £100 and banned for three months for not having a licence.
The court heard that she was stopped on the M12 and police checks revealed there was no insurance in place. She was the holder of an American licence which had expired.
A defending solicitor said she was originally from Texas and had been in Northern Ireland for four years.
