An 'Act of remembrance for members of LOL 1927'

WHEN the call to arms came many of our members answered that call and enlisted in the service of King and Country.

Of the 16 members who volunteered six were to make the 'supreme sacrifice' far from their native land.

Many of the others were wounded in action. We acknowledge the debt we owe to those we remember in this Roll of Honour and indeed to all those men and women from throughout the island of Ireland who served and died in that terrible conflict.

"At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them."
