Anderson welcomes school investment

An investment of around £7 million in technology for teachers, school librarians and pupils by the Department of Education has been welcomed by Upper Bann DUP MLA Sydney Anderson.

Mr Anderson stated, “I am led to believe that the investment has bought 15,400 portable devices for teachers and new Library software for pupils. We are all aware that technology is increasingly playing a greater role in our society and as such it is positive to see that local schools are benefiting from the purchase of new technologies. Undoubtedly the educational experience of pupils and teachers will be enhanced as a result of this.”
