Brian Mallon, Shop manager explains, “Last year we had a great day, with local young artists but this year we decided to do something a little different.

“Johnny Brady is a great singer and a great guitar player from Co Antrim. He is one of the busiest Artists in Ireland with two highly acclaimed albums but the country star didn’t hesitate to say yes when we mentioned it to him.

“We are also delighted to have the winner of The Voice 2013 Andrea Begley performing. Andrea’s album has been one of the biggest selling albums we have ever had in Dungannon, she is very talented and it will be great to have her here performing live.

“PJ Mc Donald is coming along as well, I have never seen him live but I can’t wait! His CD sells really well and I’m sure as always there will be a bit of craic with PJ around.

“Stephen Lapin is a great friend of Stewart’s Music Shop. A wonderful singer and Guitar player, Steve will also be performing. Stuart Richardson will also be joining us for a few songs. Stuart has performed in the Bardic Theatre on many occasions, and is probably best known for his performance as Buddy Holly.

“Last but not least our own Paul Hughes. Paul has worked in the shop now for over 2 years and is a leader of the Omagh Community Youth Choir. A great vocalist and guitar player, Paul will be singing a few songs as well.”

Brian continues: “It’s a bit of a mixed bag that’s bursting with talent. The idea is to allow people to hear these artists perform live with just an acoustic guitar, because its then you will be able to appreciate how exceptional talent they are. These artists all have CDs released and on sale on the day.

All the artists will be performing an exclusive acoustic set on our Live Saturday, no doubt we will also be adding to the line up.

From 2.00 to 4.00 we will have a stage set up in the shop window, just like they do in Nashville, and each act will do 3 – 4 songs.

We invite people to come along and hear the great talent that we have locally, it should be a great day”
