Andrew is Junior Ulster Young Farmer
ANDREW White from Kells & Connor YFC has been named Junior Ulster Young Farmer of the Year for 2012.
Sponsored by Northern Bank, the Junior Ulster Young Farmer of the Year competition attracted over 300 entrants.
After qualifying through two preliminary rounds, Andrew made it into the final, which took place in CAFRE Greenmount campus earlier this year. During the final stage he had to impress the judges with his knowledge of practical farming.
Andrew Dougherty from Ballywalter YFC was placed second and Ian Donnell from Strabane YFC came third.
