Animal antics at Larne YMCA

Crosskeenan Animal Sanctuary is set to benefit from fundraising night held at Larne YMCA recently.

Youth club members entered into the spirit of things with animal-themed fancy dress, bun baking and cats vs dogs football, raising over £100.

Youth support worker Dean Nutt said: “The young people decide which cause they want to support and they organise the activities for the night – with some very creative thinking.

“We will never raise thousands but we know that everything helps. It is great to see young people thinking of others and doing their bit to support causes in their community.”

To date this year Larne YMCA Youth Club have raised funds for NI Children’s Hospice, Kaleidoscope and The Dogs’ Trust.
