Animal sanctuary hosts barbecue
A LOCAL animal sanctuary is preparing to host its annual barbecue at a Carrick venue.
The Crosskennan Lane Sanctuary, which is located just outside Antrim and is the only equine welfare charity in Northern Ireland, holds the fundraising event at the Barn club this Saturday (September 11), starting at 7.30pm.
As well as the food, there will be live music, a disco and a raffle. Admission costs 10 for adults, 5 for children and guests are invited to bring a bottle.
Proceeds will go towards the sanctuary’s winter feed appeal. Tickets can be reserved by calling 9446 5384 or 9036 4106.
