Partnerships Manager for Marie Curie, Anne is also a Marie Curie Volunteer Helper.

“This role sees me spending a minimum of three hours a week with a lovely lady who has a terminal illness but is still living at home,” she said. “I am really there to offer emotional and practical help. It is an absolute pleasure to be a Marie Curie Helper and wonderful to know I am adding value to this lady’s life and helping to alleviate some of the stress of living with a terminal illness.”

Anne is looking forward to the race and urges people to register for the event on Sunday, April 17.

“If this country girl can do it, anyone can,” she said, “and if we can all help raise vital funds for people across Northern Ireland who are living with a terminal illness, then we might as well have some fun at the same time.

“Entries close on April 12 so sign up today at www.mud-madness.com.”
