Ann’s art in the frame

Northern Regional College Foundation Art & Design student Ann Gillan is currently exhibiting her work in the College at the Trostan Avenue building in Ballymena.

Anne who is from Ballycastle has produced work which is a mixture of photography and painting and has mixed both in the exhibition.

The theme she drew her inspiration from is landscaping, where her images are drawn from the local area.

NRC Foundation Art & Design Co-ordinator Janette Lammey said: “This is Ann’s first exhibition and it gathered great reviews. She has mixed a lot of colour and media work throughout in order to obtain this unique look.

“I am very proud of the work she has produced and I am in no doubt that she has a great career in Art & Design in the future.”
