Annual free family fun day is ready for take off

MOIRA Pentecostal Church’s annual free Family Fun Day is back bigger than ever with a helicopter as the star. The event will be held in Moira demesne on Saturday June 25 from 11am - 3pm. Registration for the passes will open at 10.45am.

This year’s event will be the biggest to date with new events added to the day including Zerb balling, instant flights competition, World War vehicles and a new super hero fancy dress competition for all the children and brave adults, with prizes to be won.

Other events on the day include a Totz Zone (under 4), face painting, bouncy slides, rodeo bull, rare breeds farm (including an 8ft python), carnival games, ladies pamper tent (free nail art, manicure etc), men’s area (big boys toys), BBQ, refreshments, lolly stand, Police, Fire Service, football, free raffle prizes and spot prizes throughout the day and much more.

This year’s main feature will be a Helicopter, which will be on site from 11am and there are free flights to be won throughout the day for the whole family. The Helicopter will be on the ground in between flights for everyone to get an up close and personal look and take any photos with the kids.

This is the events sixth year and one organisers hope will surpass the previous years. All are very welcome to come along and enjoy a family day out free of charge and organisers hope visitors will return home feeling blessed for having spent a day together surrounded by God’s love and fellowship.

All attending are reminded to register upon entrance to the fun day area in order to receive entrance to all competitions, and all relevant information. Go along bring a friend or the whole family.
