Anthony Toner headlines SvP gig at Montra

COLERAINE'S finest singer/songwriter Anthony Toner is making a welcome return to the Montra Club for a charity gig.

The gig will take place on Friday, May 28th in aid of the St John’s branch of the St Vincent de Paul Society which this year is celebrating its 150th anniversary.

Well-known in Coleraine, Anthony has been impressing the music public around Ireland and further afield with his recent albums ‘The Duke of Oklahoma and other Stories’ and ‘Sailortown’.

Anthony’s homecoming gig in aid of the St Vincent de Paul Society will see him team up again with Noel McKeary in a fantastic evening of music which will be hosted by comedian Robert Ramsey.

Later in the evening there will be dancing to Henry Gaile.

A spokesman for the St John’s branch of the St Vincent de Paul said: “This charity gig co-incides with the 150th anniversary of the local conference and as a charitable organisation we rely on the generous support of the general public.”
