Anti-social behaviour in Glengormley: Police say '˜dedicated officers' are tackling the problem

Police say they are taking action to address ongoing anti-social behaviour problems in the Dorchester area of Glengormley.

Officers were responding to complaints from local residents about groups of teenagers gathering in the area, particularly in Sandyknowes Park, to drink alcohol.

One local woman, who claimed that some of the drunken youths have been “urinating in people’s gardens and exposing themselves to young children”, called on police to regularly monitor the park in a bid to halt the anti-social behaviour.
