Antrim Grammar students' artwork on display at Ulster Museum

The pupils whose artwork features are Conor Robb, GCSE; Viktoria Szaboova, AS level; and Lauren McWilliam, A2 level.

A spokesperson for the school said: “We are delighted the pupils’ work was chosen from all of Northern Ireland and represents all three categories of GCSE, AS and A level.

“This is an outstanding achievement for our pupils and also for the Art department, led by Subject Leader Mrs Stranney.”

The exhibition is on display at the Ulster Museum, Botanic Gardens and is open until February 21.

CCEA’s True Colours is a vibrant and stunning showcase of artwork produced for the summer 2015 GCE and GCSE examinations and is a must-see for art lovers of all ages.

Congratulating the students on their work, Justin Edwards, CCEA’s Chief Executive, said: “I am really delighted by the variety and overall quality of the pieces we have on show.

“The work displayed in this exhibition doesn’t look one bit out of place in the illustrious surroundings of The Ulster Museum, which now hosts the famous Rembrandt self-portrait.

“My congratulations to all of the students with work on show in the exhibition, I am sure you are very proud, as are your family, friends and of course teachers. CCEA will continue to bring this unique exhibition to an ever growing audience.”
