Appeal after £10,000 metal stolen from house

Police in Lisburn are appealing for information after around £10,000 worth of metal and other items were taken from a vacant house in Dunmurry.

Thieves removed the heating system from the property on Groganstown Road along with lead from the roof and oil from the tank. The external oil pump was also stolen.

The radiators in the house had been removed from the walls but had not been taken away. A significant amount of water damage was caused to the ground and first floors.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious between June 28 and July 4 is asked to ring Lisburn police station on 0845 600 8000.
