Appeal as stone statue is stolen

A grey stone statue of a little girl was taken from the front of a house in Meadow Bank, Seapatrick earlier this month,

Thieves took the statue, which is described as being of great sentimental value to its owners and around two feet in height from the house sometime between Sunday August 31 and Monday September 1.

Constable Jay Morrison, explained: “We have a photo of a similar statue. I would like to hear from anyone who has information about the theft or whereabouts of the ornament. You can contact police on the 101 non-emergency number.”

Police in Banbridge are investigating the incident.
