Thanks to the generosity of local people, Larne is one of the top towns in Northern Ireland to give blood. At the last session in September, 116 people attended; 94 were able to donate blood, of whom nine where new donors.

Presently, 94 per cent of the population does not donate blood, but doing so is vitally important and can save a life. It may even save a member of your family.
