Appeal for female driver who assisted at scene of road fatality in Cookstown

Police in Cookstown say they are keen to speak with the female driver of a BMW vehicle who assisted at the scene of collision which claimed the life Jayne Burnside.

The 23-year-was killed when she was struck by a car on the Gortagammon Road, Tullyhogue just before 1.00am on Saturday morning.

In a statement posted on Facebook the PSNI said: “Police in Cookstown are keen to speak with the Female driver of a BMW vehicle who spoke with the family and assisted at the scene of the fatal Road traffic collision on the Gortagammon Rd, Tullyhogue in the early hours of the 11/04/15.

“Please contact police at by using 101 telephone number.”
