Appeal for help
THE local Polish community is appealing for help for families affected by flooding in Poland.
Blankets, batteries, nappies, sleeping bags, detergent, tinned food or anything that can help can be left at the various Polish shops in Lurgan or at Joanna International Hairdressing in Church Place.
Thousands of Poles were left homeless when rivers burst their banks after heavy rain at the beginning of May.
