Appeal for return of girl's bike

AN EIGHT-year-old girl has appealed to thieves to return her first ever bike.

Ciara McNally had her bike stolen from her home in Maple Court this week.

The bike was only new and the St Francis school girl had bought it with her Holy Communion money.

Young Ciara said she was upset to have lost the bike she learned to cycle on.

Grandad Gerald McNally said: "She loved that bike and was really upset when it went missing.

"She bought it herself with her own money she got at her Holy Communion only a few weeks ago.

"Maybe someone will remember seeing it going missing or, maybe has it and will return it."

Ciara described it as a white and pink mountain bike and it was lifted from the garden of her Maple Court home, grandad Gerald can be contacted on 3831 6015.
