Appeal for unwanted paint for town spruce up

AS part of a town spruce up campaign, Ballymoney Chamber of Commerce is appealing to residents and local businesses for any unwanted exterior paint they may have.

These could be unopened or partially used pots of paint from domestic or commercial jobs.

Speaking about the initiative, Chamber President Winifred Mellett said, “There are a number of development opportunity sites in the town centre on which implementation of refurbishment or redevelopment has been delayed due to the current economic climate.

“This initiative is part of a wider clean up campaign which includes weed and moss clearing, minor repairs and removal of flyposting.”
