Appeals on behalf of cats, lost and found

READERS are asked this week to help find an unusually marked cat who has gone missing from the Hampton Manor area of Larne.

Poppy is a four-year-old Egyptian Mau who was last seen in Porter Crescent on Friday, April 27 at around 3pm. She has a grey/silvery back with black spots and her tummy is white with black spots.

She is a friendly family cat, who loves company and enjoys lying in the garden watching the children play. She doesn’t usually leave her own garden, so she may have been frightened by something unusual or been taken by someone. Please check around sheds, gardens and garages just in case she is frightened or trapped in or around the Hampton Manor and Seven Springs areas.

Poppy would be timid around strangers and run away from noise. She has been spayed and is microchipped.

If anyone has seen Poppy over the past few days please get in touch with Anne on 07718 780 352.

Meanwhile, Larne Animal Support and Protection is hoping that readers can help reunite another beautiful cat with its owners. The ginger cat is friendly, litter-trained and is obviously someone’s much-loved pet. Contact 0754 8612042.
