Apply now for school grants, says Storey

North Antrim DUP MLA and Chairman of the Assembly Education Committee Mervyn Storey, has encouraged parents of eligible children to apply for school uniform grants.

Commenting, Mr Storey said: “The Clothing Allowance Scheme covers pupils in primary, post-primary and special schools. The eligibility criteria are similar to those used for free school meals.

Parents can obtain further information, check eligibility criteria and apply through their local Education and Library Board or by contacting my constituency office. At a time when many families are facing financial challenges, this assistance should be applied for, and I would encourage them to do so.”
